OUR ABC LONDON TEAM
ABC London, like all ABC chapters, is a group of awesome people who support the needs of bright and gifted children and their families in their local community.
Beth and her husband Joe are parents to three young boys, an educator, and a part-time homeschooling parent. She has been an educator for over 18 years and a member of ABC since finding them while searching for some answers and support with her first child.
As Events Coordinator, she plans all of the events for the London chapter. If you are interested in working with Beth or sharing some ideas for events, send her a message.
Beth holds a B.A.H. from Queen's University a B.Ed. from Western University and has also done work at the post-graduate level.
Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) Representative TVDSB
Dennis and his wife Debbie are the parents of three gifted children. They are all adults now, so Dennis & Debbie have amassed many years of experience in parenting, educating as well as advocating for their strengths and needs. With ABC, Dennis has been the SEAC (Special Education Advisory Committee) Representative on the Thames Valley District School Board for more than 10 years. He has been very active in the provincial body as well – he is a Past President of ABC Ontario and still serves as the Chair of COG (Consortium for Ontario Gifted Students), an informal group of stakeholders and advocates for gifted education that meets regularly with the Ministry of Education.
Dennis is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
